This takes you to the remote mountain villages of Nepal where you get to live in a local community member’s house and experience the way of life as the local community does. You interact with various local community groups and learn about them. You help with the daily chores of the host family and explore the village looking for opportunities to help the village grow and achieve its potential. At the end of the trip, you are expected to present what you have learned and what in your views would help the community achieve its potential in various fields. Your knowledge from the classroom is put to test in the field and your contribution could be from anything like water supply, electricity grid improvement, to increasing tourism, etc.
