The Matriarch trek involve a moderate walk to four seats of power of goddesses manakamna, Akala mai, Budhi Mai and Chhimkeshwori mai and Annapurna mai. Generally believed to be goddesses that grant wishes and goddess of food.

Manokamana perched on top of Kafudada is one of Nepal’s most powerful and revered goddesses. Dedicated to the Hindu goddess Bhagwati, who is believed to fulfill the wishes of her devotees. Akala Mai Temple: This temple is situated in the Nuwakot district and is dedicated to the goddess Akala Devi.

Devotees visit this temple to seek blessings for protection and strength. Annapurna Mai Temple: Situated in the Kaski district, this temple is dedicated to the goddess Annapurna, the Hindu deity of nourishment and abundance. It holds significance for both Hindu and Buddhist communities. Budhi Mai Temple: Also known as Chhimkeshwori Mai Temple, this shrine is associated with the goddess Budhi Mai, another deity believed to grant wishes. It is located near the famous tourist town of Bandipur.
